Roller cleaner (roller cleaning machine)

Raising machine for the production of napped articles, e.g. wool blankets.

Metal carding rollers process the fabric; there are pile rollers and counter-pile rollers. The pile rollers have a greater effect in the direction of the fabric's movement. The counter-pile rollers have a greater effect against the direction of the fabric's movement.

For blanket production, both sides of the fabric must be processed to create a voluminous nap. High-quality blankets are raised both wet and dry.
