In broader use, there is a small distinction between wool and hair.
In the textile industry, wool refers to that from sheep, and natural hair refers to hair from cashmere goats, alpacas, camels, yaks, or mohair goats. Chemically, they differ only marginally. However, hair and fine hair have scale edges that are only half as high as wool. Therefore, they feel softer than wool. The scale structure is best visible under a microscope. The pronounced scales enable the felting property of wool and fine hairs, which plays a role in further processing and care.

High moisture absorption in natural hair blankets and wool blankets.

Wool and natural hair blankets have the property of absorbing up to 30% of their own weight in moisture without feeling damp.

The glass is 1/3 filled with water. This percentage corresponds approximately to the amount of water that wool and hair can absorb in relation to their own weight without feeling damp!

Natural hair blankets and wool blankets or duvets with camel hair fillings, wool fillings, or cashmere fillings are therefore particularly well suited for a pleasant sleep, as the breathability of the natural hairs prevents excessive sweating.
Compared to other materials (synthetics 4%, cotton 8%, down 12%), natural hairs and wool are leaders in moisture absorption!

Natural hair blankets are dirt-resistant. Naturally stain-resistant.

The natural residual fat content or wax of wool and natural hairs of approx. 0.7% on the hair after washing makes the surface of wool or natural hairs difficult to soil and works naturally.

Wool and natural hairs neutralize body perspiration

Wool and natural hairs neutralize body perspiration and acid. Even with prolonged direct skin contact, they do not absorb sweat odor.

Natural hair blankets conserve resources

Wool and natural hairs are a naturally renewable raw material. Humans have benefited from sheep and animals for millennia as suppliers of wool, dung, meat, and leather, and also as beasts of burden. The symbiosis between animal and human has been passed down for millennia.
Animals and sheep grow up in their natural environment.

Natural hair blankets do not need to be dyed
Natural hairs, if not dyed, have natural colors that subtly blend into your living environment. Natural colors offer their own aesthetic. Due to the different color nuances in the animal's coat, an optical mixture occurs in the eye of the beholder. Natural colors appear more vibrant than plain dyed articles due to this "melange effect."

The natural colors are as follows:

Camel hair: natural white (blond), very rare, as well as camel-colored.

Alpaca: the color palette ranges from white, cream, beige, camel, brown, dark brown, silver, gray, anthracite to black. The alpaca fleece is sorted into up to 24 different natural colors at its origin.

Wool: usually white to slightly yellowish, sometimes small amounts of brown, black in coarser wools

Yak: dark brown

Cashmere: white (from China), cream (from Mongolia), camel (from Iran), gray (Mongolia), brownish-gray (Afghanistan), dark brown (Afghanistan)

Wool and hair have a subtle light inherent odor, which is generally perceived as pleasant by humans.

Try it, your senses are challenged. You will feel secure.

Wool and natural hair blankets are flame retardant. In case of normal short-term flame exposure, the flame extinguishes itself.

Wool and hair have a high loft and a natural recovery capacity

Wool and hair are breathable.
Unpleasant sweating is thereby reduced.
