The owner personally purchases the raw materials from reliable raw material importers and supervises the manufacturing process personally.
According to the owner's specifications, the tested raw materials are spun and twisted with a defined twist, woven according to his weaving instructions, and finally finished.

The owners of Ritter Decken are descendants of the Übel family.
Ritter Decken was initially founded as a sole proprietorship by Mr. Friedrich Ritter on April 30, 1995. With his son Christian Ritter, new paths are being explored back to self-employment.

Our natural hair blankets are tested for harmful substances by the Bremen Environmental Institute on a random sample basis, including all relevant sources of pollutants. Almost all measured values were below the detection limit.
